1. Tone down all inflammatory language

2. Refuse to name-call or demonize someone else or their position.

3. Stick to the facts when you discuss your opponents’ positions that are different from yours.

4. Learn about the other side. Watch broadcasts etc. that support your political opponents.

5. ‘Speak in love, speak in respect, and speak in peace.’

6. Uncover the hidden connections between you,

7. Find a larger goal you can carry out together or as a group.

We need to recognize that we’re all in this together more than ever.

Hey Joe, great article as usual! I totally agree with your points, especially the crisis of imagination.

I believe that if people understood the true power of imagination, they would prioritize it more. Imagination is our first way of seeing the world, and it shapes our physical reality.

Unfortunately, we often use our imagination in a negative light, fueling the status quo. I've written about this in my article and podcast, highlighting how we misuse our imagination:

I completely agree with your strategy, starting with awareness. We need to recognize the "cage" that holds us back and become aware of the things that keep us trapped. Once we do, we can break free.

Great article, always looking forward to your insights! Chat later!
