This would be the end of anyone (other than the wealthy I imagine) hiding a bit of money from gov't for tax purposes lol. But maybe that isn't the most worrisome part. The potential to control spending habits is troublesome. I think 15 minute cities could also be possible with this... controlling the distance from their home that people could spend money at if they wanted. Perhaps that's 'too far', but it becomes possible.

And with the C02 discussion as you pointed out, we can't just brush this possibility off. Great article, thank you!
