British Columbia (Canada) Admits 60% of “COVID” Hospitalizations Not From COVID
More than half of the people who have been admitted to the hospital for a COVID infection in British Columbia, Canada, were not actually admitted because of COVID.Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry recently presented new numbers at a news conference.
According to the data, a review of 550 hospital charts for patients admitted after Dec. 1, 2021 showed that about 60 percent people with Omicron were actually there for other reasons, not COVID.
We can see that about 60 percent of admissions that were related to Omicron were not because of the infection, but people who were admitted and tested and found to have a positive test.
According to CBC news, B.C. changed its reporting strategy on hospitalizations. The numbers provided by the province now include people admitted because of COVID-19, as well as those who tested positive after being admitted for other reasons. But it appears that throughout this pandemic COVID "hospitalizations" have always included both categories.

Not Only With Omicron
This is something we've seen throughout the pandemic, and it really gave more of a context to COVID "hospitalizations" to those who came across this information. But legacy media has only recently began to show these statistics in an accurate light despite the fact that there has been scientific evidence since the beginning of the pandemic that this was/is happening.
Dr. Kieran Moore, Ontario’s chief medical officer, confirmed in January 2022 that approximately 50% of COVID hospitalizations represent people who aren’t actually suffering from COVID, but are in the hospital for other issues.
Brampton (an outskirt of the Greater Toronto Area) Mayor Patrick Brown Echoed Moore’s statements. On Dec 29, 2021 CTV News Toronto reported that he has heard from a number of physicians that COVID hospitalization numbers may not necessarily paint an accurate picture of the current situation in the province.
This was also expressed by Toronto Public Health as early as June 2020.

Not only have COVID “hospitalizations” been inaccurately portrayed, but COVID “deaths” seem to be inaccurately portrayed too. On the Ontario government website it states the following in their footnotes (#7),
Any case marked as “Fatal” is included in the deaths data. Deaths are included whether or not COVID-19 was determined to be a contributing or underlying cause of death.
Ontario Public Health
Dr. Ngozi Ezike, Director of the Illinois Department of Public Health stated the following during the first wave of the pandemic,
If you were in hospice and had already been given a few weeks to live and then you were also found to have COVID, that would be counted as a COVID death, despite if you died of a clear alternative cause it’s still listed as a COVID death. So, everyone who is listed as a COVID death that doesn’t mean that was the cause of the death, but they had COVID at the time of death.

This isn't to say COVID is not serious, but it goes to show how legacy media and government health agencies have not given an accurate depiction of what's really going on, and this should be concerning to everybody.
More statistics that put COVID into perspective include the fact that 95 percent of people in the United States who died with COVID also had an average of four other causes of death listed on the death certificate. In the region of England and Wales, only 6,183 of COVID deaths can be attributed solely to COVID from the beginning of 2020 up until the end of Dec 2021. The bulk of COVID deaths include multiple other causes listed on death certificates.
An inaccurate and false depiction of events has become the norm from legacy media, this is also something we're currently experiencing with the freedom trucker convoy here in Canada.

How can people who rely on legacy media for information get an accurate portrayal of what's really happening. These organizations have massive conflicts of interests and are very clearly misleading people in some cases. Furthermore, they constantly use ridicule instead of actually addressing concerns that are being raised, especially with regards to COVID.
Today, it seems, we have a modern day "ministry of truth" going around telling everybody what is and "fact checking" all opinion and evidence that opposes the "mainstream" narrative
