Footage of John Lennon Describing His UFO Experience
It's interesting to view videos of the past from those who were deemed "out there" and controversial. The main thing to remember is to be a good person and don't be afraid to speak your truth.

We came across and shared the footage below ten years ago but feel it’s relevant to present now as the subject is on even more people’s radar. In it, John Lennon describes his experience witnessing a UFO in New York City.
On August 23rd, 1974 Lennon walked out on to the balcony of his New York apartment, and witnessed what he described as a "Flying Saucer" hovering closely, just above his window. Lennon became so completely fascinated by the event, that he talked incessantly about the incident, and even included the encounter within two different songs on different albums.
It’s been shared around quite a bit within the past couple of years, but for those who haven’t come across it I thought I’d share. It’s always interesting to gaze into the past and see where collective consciousness was at with this subject.
A Brief Note
We started creating awareness about the UFO phenomenon well over a decade ago. We were standing on the backs of others who did an incredible amount before us. Today, it’s truly incredible to observe just how far things have both progressed and also declined when it comes to ‘mainstream’ UFO disclosure. It’s like we’ve taken 10 steps back in many ways.
It feels like we’re living in the Project Bluebook UFO craze of the 1950’s and 60s, albeit in a different/slightly modified way.
With everything going ‘mainstream’ within the past few years, I argue that humanity is witnessing a form of controlled disclosure and information control. With the growing and heightened interest in this topic among the general public, government organizations are now primed to explain their version of the phenomenon to the public and have even set up official offices to do so. One is the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office.
Why am I telling you this? Because the UFO phenomenon is one that requires years of study to get a holistic and accurate portrayal of all that encompasses the phenomenon. Even at that point, one is most definitely left with more questions than they began with. This is because the topic can be closely related with multiple fields, from physics and technology to parapsychology, biology, history and much more.
When I observe what’s happening now, I see a lot of division within the field, with only a select few individuals, some with military and intelligence backgrounds, receiving all of the ‘say’ and ‘limelight.’
Meanwhile, others with similar credentials are usually ignored by media because they present an ‘unpopular’ or opposing opinion about the subject.
The opinion I’m referring to is within the question of whether ETs are benevolent or malevolent, and the philosophical implications of what’s going on ‘out there.’ The mainstream perspective is almost entirely focused on them being a threat it seems, and there are many examples of that.
This is something I am currently writing about and plan to publish soon. So stay tuned if interested!
Interesting! Did not know that about John. I saw what I believe was a UFO in the early 80’s that was hovering above the trees in front of my house. I woke up to the windows shaking, there was no noise. I looked out the living room window and saw this large object with white lights, I then ran to the next room to see if I could see actually how big it was and it had just disappeared. So now have been a life-long UFO enthusiast!
Another excellent article Arjun. Keep them coming ! 👍🏻🙏🏼
