High Ranking NSA Whistleblower Claims Their Goal Is "Total Population Control"
Sometimes when something seems "scary" or unsettling our reaction is to simply ignore and disregard it. They say ignorance is bliss, and while that may be true in some cases, when it comes to tackling our world's challenges this doesn't seem to be the case. Further, ignorance can be bliss, until it's too late to pick up the pieces.
If we want to make our world a better place, we must shine light on the perceived "darkness" and transform these aspects of our world. Even if we don't yet know what the solution is, identifying the what's happening is of utmost importance.
That being said, sometimes the actual problem is hard to put your finger on. In many cases, what could actually be a problem is too much for some minds to comprehend or believe. Truth has the ability to change one's perception of the world.
One big truth about our world is that it's shrouded in extreme secrecy. This is known, and has been known, for a while. The United States has a history of government agencies existing in secret for years. The National Security Agency (NSA) was founded in 1952, its existence was hidden until the mid 1960’s. Even more secretive is the National Reconnaissance Office, which was founded in 1960 but remained completely secret for 30 years.
Most of what's been done within these organizations remains hidden from public knowledge, and it's all justified by claiming secrecy is necessary for "national security." I've said it many times, national security has become an umbrella term to justify the concealment of information for hard to prove ulterior motives. This has been a problem for years, and it's something that's been happening for a long time.
We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it.
NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden blew the whistle and leaked classified information showing just how strong, and global, their surveillance was. One of the biggest shocks for many was that the NSA wasn't just tracking potential 'threats', they were tracking everybody, including their own citizens. Imagine 10 years later, who knows what methods and sophistication are used for these purposes. And the big question is, why are they doing it?
The explanation always seems to be "for our safety" but many people don't believe that.
William Binney is a former high ranking intelligence official with the NSA. He is one of the highest placed intelligence officials to ever blow the whistle on insider NSA ‘knowings.’ He made headlines when he resigned in 2001 after 9/11, having worked more than thirty years for the agency. He was a leading code-breaker against the Soviet Union during the Cold war, and like Snowden, was repelled by the United States’ massive surveillance programs.
Seven years ago he stated the following,
“At least 80% of fibre optic cables globally go via the US, this is no accident and allows the US to view all communication coming in. At least 80% of all audio calls, not just metadata, are recorded and stored in the US. The NSA lies about what it stores. The ultimate goal of the NSA is total population control.”
The justifications for this level of monitoring always seems to be "for our best interests." But many crisis' that exist and persist, in many cases based on my research, are created and perpetuated by the same ones proposing the solution. These crisis' are highly profitable for powerful people.
Take COVID, for example, a recent report by Oxfam is one of many to explain how the world's wealthiest people have seen their wealth grow substantially since the beginning of the pandemic, while most others have suffered greatly as a result of the pandemic.
When it comes to population control, money is not the motivation, population control in itself seems to be the motivation. As a human race we are continually allowing our perception to be manipulated, this in itself is a big factor as to why humanity accepts certain measures, like mass surveillance for example.
Never before has there been a time where curiosity and empathy are needed so much. We continue to be divided on various issues and are failing to have appropriate conversations regarding "controversial" topics. COVID is a great example, and according to Snowden,
As authoritarianism spreads, as emergency laws proliferate, as we sacrifice our rights, we also sacrifice our capability to arrest the slide into a less liberal and less free world. Do you truly believe that when the first wave, this second wave, the 16th wave of the coronavirus is a long forgotten memory, that these capabilities will not be kept?
An interview with VICE, September 2020.
Is it truly hard to believe that certain people desire power and control above all else? Why is our world in constant chaos, and why do we continue to look and turn to such a corrupt political systems for any type of meaningful change?
Why do paradigm shifting, earth changing developments, like certain new energy technologies, never really see the light of day? Why do we continue to believe that asking politicians to do something about the problems we face is any sort of solution?
Sometimes it seems we are under some type of mass hypnosis. The good news is, people seem to be waking up. For more on questioning and embracing new ideas, check out this video.
