Unless people have the time to explore the the reach and influence of 'dead internet theory' on the 'news cycle' and ultimately, how humans think about our reality, its effects remain unknown.
Consider just one non-human influence...
What are the consequences of 50%, or more, of internet traffic already being AI generated?
AI generated advertising and ideology on social media, the 'news' and general internet communication, generates self reinforcing loops of thought.
This is evidenced by the familiar, increase in the polarisation of ideas and beliefs.
With continuing interaction, the conscious and unconscious goals and ideologies programmed into LLMs (large language models) interact with each other and reiforce the already opposing paradigms of what is true.
If this is true, AI super intelligence will try to win those arguments by the same methods that fearful people do... by violence.
In that case, non-human, AI super intelligence already exists.
The integration of non-human intelligence into the human social lexicon distorts our perceptions of each other and the world, justifying alienation and inhuman actions of violence.
I don’t think ‘humanity’ is on a Self Terminating Path… It is the environment that is corrupt ~ hence those within that environment either fall prey to it, OR many will SEE it for what it is and make another move to create a NEW environment. WE can do this my friends, we can do this but only together on the same page to re-write the script of LIFE. LIVE LOVE CREATE PEACE.

Your ability to communicate and provoke thought in those that you reach is so essential. I am so often aligned with your topics and like so many others don’t know how to ACTION in an evolutionary direction. We seem to be at the point where we know the old systems and ways don’t (and will never) work AND we are not sure how to step out of them and create momentum that can actually shift things. How do we actually come together to ACTION new ideas, systems and ways of living? There are small pockets of people doing this but again…unless you have the financial means to participate, it’s not available. How do we actualize what is possible?? Thank you Joe for bringing your ideas and thoughts to the table. Sending big love and momentous energy!!
Thankfully, I am moved by all the powerful notions of starting anew where it’s obvious that novelty is required for change. Your writing has the qualities that we as humanity need to make a better version of the whole collective consciousness. I hope that more people will continue to see clearly and go beyond that- deeper still, as you mentioned. Sincere gratitude is all that has gotten me through some of the lowest moments we’ve experienced. That gratitude has helped enormously to remain only in a state of love, peace, tranquility within.

As I see it, all governments are AI driven and there is no resistance from the tech addicted. Either accept Real ID/Digital ID or be left out, e.g. of travel, of govt. buildings, etc. that's just a start, rule by technocracy and AI.
