Mainstream Media Is Funded By Governments & Big Corporations, We Aren't: Here's How You Can Help
Where do mainstream media outlets get their funding from? Mostly big corporations or wealthy billionaires - and sometimes governments. This can produce massive conflicts of interest in what comes out of mainstream media coverage. This is why some information is presented in a specific light, while other information is completely ignored and even ridiculed.
Here's a great example regarding Pfizer. If Pfizer is one of the main presenting sponsors on CNN, Good Morning America, ABC, CBC and 60 Minutes, can one expect these organizations to bite the hand that feeds them?
2015 award winning CBS journalist, Sharyl Attkisson, explained in a TEDx talk how “astroturf,” (fake grassroots movements, funded by political, corporate, or other special interests) effectively manipulate and distort media messages.
William Arkin, is a longtime and well-known military and war reporter. He is best known for his groundbreaking three-part Washington Post series in 2010 on classified black budget programs. He went public outing NBC/MSNBC as completely fake government run agencies.
"For me I realized how out of step I was when I looked at Trump’s various bumbling intuitions: his desire to improve relations with Russia, to denuclearize North Korea, to get out of the Middle East, to question why we are fighting in Africa, even in his attacks on the intelligence community and the FBI. Of course he is an ignorant and incompetent impostor. And yet I’m alarmed at how quick NBC is to mechanically argue the contrary, to be in favor of policies that just spell more conflict and more war. Really? We shouldn’t get out Syria? We shouldn’t go for the bold move of denuclearizing the Korean peninsula?"

Dr. Udo Ulfkotte, who was a top German journalist and editor for more than two decades, went on the record stating that he was forced to publish the works of intelligence agents under his own name.
Other giant sources of funding come from billionaire "philanthropists" like Bill Gates.
This Is Why Independent Media Is So Important. And We Need Your Help
Big media outlets have a huge amount of resources, and most importantly, protection from outlets like Google, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. Most independent media does not yet have these resources, and Big Tech actively acts to remove what resources we do have.
As you likely know, independent media that provides information and evidence calling into question mainstream and government narratives and encouraging the citizenry to think and expand its consciousness are commonly subjected to censorship via "fact checking." Based on our experience, and the experience of many others, this is a very corrupt process and is not grounded in supporting 'facts'. This is instead how government, and government affiliated authorities, are stopping the spread of important information they do not want people to see.
