Thank you for this much needed reflection on societal transformation through taking distance from so called social media (which truly are rather anti social), working on change in ourself, openning to other points of view without judgment, cooperating instead of compeating and taking different scales steps, small to big, local to international, to co-create the human community we wish and strive for...

Thank you Joe for your writings and constant search of balance and integrity !

PS : I noticed a missing word intyour text :

"Yes, there are elitists out there who collab and conspire to take the ??? from the masses,

Power ? Discermment ? Freedom of thought ?

Very insightful piece. I like the way you flesh out these ideas in a time where people are focused so much just on what's in front of them. I get the need for both approach simultaneously. Keep it comin.

Hey, Joe! It's been quite some time since we last spoke. I know I pretty much went my own way, away from CE Connect because I honestly felt like the connectedness around these new ideas that were present when I joined the platform seemed to slowly fade until I felt like they just were not there anymore (no fault of yours, just my personal feelings). In any event, even in my writings I did on my Substack, I felt entirely the same way as the complex and perplexing dilemmas you presented in this piece -- people wanting an immediate solution by reading only 10-20 words, finger-pointing and "othering" people who might have a different viewpoint, blaming one "side" of the equation when both sides (and the entirely system at large) need to be addressed as a whole rather than individual pieces independent of the other (although we may need to look at different parts of these systems individually before the whole of the system can be changed), etc.

I know in the beginning when I just started writing on Substack, I tried to merge my own individual stories and lessons learned in my life with the way our system design incentivizes the "othering" and exploiting of people for another's gain; but over time, even my content fell further into the political sphere although I did my damnest to remain as balanced and even-keel as I possibly could. And right now, I may stop writing entirely because not only do I not even know what exactly to write about or shape the contents of any pieces, but I'm beyond exhausted (and I'm sure I'm not the only one, lol).

Anyways, I hope all is well and looking forward to trying to re-explore some of these ideas either through workshops, videos, blogs or anything else you might be thinking about! So, keep me posted and stay safe!

I loved the framing in the end around layers of change. One of the biggest personal changes I made is realizing that my greatest (and you could argue only) contribution is my frequency (driven by my consciousness). Because we are all part of the collective consciousness, everyone is actually receiving my messages, regardless of how many likes or shares it gets. Based on feedback I've received, I have made the biggest impact in just the living of my life. I write a Substack, make social posts here and there, but it is for the joy I get in expressing myself that way. If it helps others find a new perspective, wonderful! As you point out, trying to engineer content for maximum eyeballs or engagement usually leads to something lesser.

What we see in the world around us is a reflection of what we have been collectively programmed to believe. To accomplish long-term change will require that we go within to understand our true nature and potential and build on that. What we envision will become reality. Our future and past are entangled with our present consciousness. On some level, we already know what is necessary to bring in the golden age which is awaiting us. Let's go within to realize this knowledge. I welcome anyone to express this idea more elegantly.

When I was a child, I acted like a child. When I became a man, I acted like a man. I don't think there is a way of changing a child into a man before it. is natural for him to become a man.

I have been following CE for around 10 years. I think the audience has changed on FB. Ever since the mass censoring of quality, intelligent, and researched material, FB has become a sesspool for the lowest forms of commentary. I rarely use FB now, and I suspect that many of your early followers may have come to the same conclusion. FB is a big fat time waster. Thanks for everything you do. I will continue to read on Substack and emails.

The left censored the facts for the past five years, seriously. They went all totalitarian on us. I think market capitalism needs some socialist checks and balances. People who get to the top are usually ruthless. It is outside of the awareness of normal people, that many not only do not have empathy, but actively work to crush others. Social media devolves to the lowest common denominator in a forum that lends itself to a mob mentality. The majority don't leverage up at the character level.

Totalitarianism has been on the rise in the rhetoric of both sides of government all around the world. I agree, the Left certainly has done some obvious stuff in the last few years, and it's easy to point the finger, but there have always been close relationships between intelligence agencies under every government since back in the 60's. It's a bi-partisan effort.

The censorship of people who were vaccine injured is not a simple finger pointing. The censorship that occurred across the board for the past five years has led to an enormous amount of death and harm. I still can't get my head around the denial on podcasts like the Bulwark. Two good resource books: 'What the Nurses Saw' by Ken McCarthy and Jim Haslam's book on covid (long name, the word junk is in title). A real education, very eye opening.

My husband and I rarely disagree with your pov however your comment about conservatives wanting things to stay the same we steadfastly disagree with. What the conservatives want to do is upturn the radical left movement that has overturned and radicalized many, if not all of our public institutions. The SOGI agenda is taking things too far. Men in women’s sports and prisons, really? Climate hysteria? And many more issues taken off the cliff.

I agree with you on all of these issues, the identity-less cultural Left over the last 10 years is certainly guilty of all of this. We've reported on a lot of this since 2016 as well. But that isn't entirely the point of this piece. My focus was largely on the nature of system design, most of which has been steadily devolving into worse and worse outcomes no matter who is in power. One of the most revealing pieces of information is something I will link below. It's a video that shows no matter who is in power, the US government spends money in the exact same way. This produces the same outcomes no matter who is in power. I would agree that certain cultural changes occur, but the underlying system and the outcomes remain the same. https://insights.collective-evolution.com/2019/03/21/video-us-tax-spending-stays-the-same-regardless-of-whos-in-power/

Said another way, even if the nuclear family is held together, and trans people don't play in sports against their new gender, and the woke ideology completely dies, we are still left with all of the same systemic outcomes that are separate from the culture wars. These are generally the issues that we have been pointing out for 16 years before any of these culture wars emerged.

"There is no conspiracy. There is no cosmic mystery. There is no 'both sides

Every problem on Earth makes sense once you accept that:

1) We built a society where everyone is run and ruled by money

2) Those with the most money can never have enough money

3) These people are totally fine with anything bad that might occur as a result of pursuing more money - up to and including mass death, disability, destruction and eradication of any race, any country, and any species.....even their own.

That's it. That's the secret. No one is coming to help.

We are the people we need to fix this.

“The most important point to be made here is that as long as we remain egocentric beings, there shall always be sociopaths and psychopaths among us, who inevitably rise to authority driven by selfishness, greed, and apathy – who then capsize their entire sphere of influence despite the best intentions of all the rest of us. This perpetual cycle can only continue its descent until we undergo the spiritual and cultural transformation available by transmuting the egocentricity at its root.” – The Everyone Project
