On November 4, 2003, Prince Charles paid a visit to the famed Dabbawalas in Mumbai to witness for himself how these 5,000 semi-literate lunchbox delivery boys are able to deliver such an incredible performance, distributing a staggering 200,000 lunchboxes a day, 6 days a week, producing 1 defect in 6 million deliveries, according to Forbes.
Nice article. Thanks. I've lately been listening to Swami Yoganada's autobiography, and his Swami's Sriyukteswar's book, The Holy Science. I wonder if Daniel Goleman and his brilliant EQ theories might have anything to contribute to your research? In 2011 before I wrapped my first planetwide talk show, I'd asked him to guest for me. Although he said, "Yes", I bagged the show. At this writing I've around 10K hours of meditation under my belt.

I had never heard of that before. It makes sense. It seems like performance in the US often involves denial of one's internal state and emotions.
