I regularly watch videos of interviews or conferences on consciousness given by these world-renowned people. I particularly remember a conference attended by Sadhguru and DC along with other highly qualified speakers.
What I am about to say is not rational. The subject was human consciousness, and what DC said was relevant but did not add anything to what Sadhguru was saying. I don't know why I felt a sense of mistrust towards DC. This impression was confirmed every time I had the opportunity to watch him in other videos. He gave me the impression of being a very good theorist but nothing more, a scientist without any real practical knowledge, in short, everything you could want except an enlightened being in the Buddhist sense of the term.
After reading your information, I understand why I felt this discomfort.
So far every time I try to talk about it, it comes out like a lot of somewhat incoherent rage, so I imagine that might be what is keeping some others silent as well, although I totally agree that those with large platforms, especially who are in the arena of 'doing what is right' and promoting 'the light', would be wise to address this 'teachable moment'. I don't know if it is fair to call anyone out for not speaking up yet though. I personally am not shocked, except by how shocked everyone seems to be, but also, I have too much CPTSD to go browsing through them, so my exposure has been filtered through other people's reactions to them. There are a whole lot of horrific and unfair things going on...my locust of control has plenty of room for improvement before I will feel equipt to go about pointing fingers, except perhaps to those who have personally raped or violated me (and at this point... well, I learned young that our system does not support the victims of crimes--it just grinds everyone into something less than human).
The way to fix it is to build better families and better societies. Our justice system is corrupt and our entire society is indeed complicit. The principal of my jr hs and hs was put in charge of 'problem children/children in need of supervision' like me and others, and negatively impacted countless young lives 'saving them' from worse, perhaps...this goes on all around to 'the unprotected'. The solution is to care and communicate more, and stop victim blaming, stop the idea that you can punish it out of society--prisons are just part of the entire sick system.
People act so appalled but there are victims all around who will never get any repair to our ruptured lives, and all of this does not help any of us...and yeah, to all those who threatened those of us who refused to take the obviously falsely promoted vaxx, a public (or even private) apology would be nice.
We made a film called Time is Art in 2015 and had all this pressure for him to be in the film. We aren’t interested in celebrity. But I recall one of his children saying something really negative about him. It was kind of a relief bc dealing with “VIPS” is hellish for directors. We were more into real people like Graham Hancock (who is in the film https://thesyncmovie.com/watch) he never towed the line on Covid or anything. I knew immediately who was real or fake based on who pushed the poison during that time. Had a major falling out with all the people into metaphysics but were all about the shot. It made zero sense.
Feels good to be vindicated at the very least. All lies will be revealed. Thank you for your work Joe and holding on to your integrity. Been a huge fan since the CE days!
Yes, many showed their true colors starting with the plandemic. In what world can one be spiritually enlightened yet have zero intuition, discernment or even a gut feeling surrounding the whole narrative.
Exactly. It blew my mind how a large majority of the “spiritual” community pushed infections that harmed and killed so many. Just goes to show you, Chopra and fake people are just a part of life and the facade gets revealed during certain events like 9/11 and psyops like the Scamdemic.
Thanks for sharing your experience. COVID was certainly an interesting time. I had some conscious colleagues also become very agitated about anyone who was not taking the shot. While I think it's OK for them to make their own choice, they were very aggressive and condescending towards those who took a different path. I ultimately felt that where they needed to still do work within themselves was being shown in the moment. Usually it is in stressful moments that the capacity we have to live our message comes to be seen.
Met him in 1998. What shall I do with my autographed books.🔥 I actually started distrusting him in 2020 when he came out as a very vocal covid vax advocate. Several of his colleagues have lost my trust too for stances not congruent with their “awakened one”personas: Oprah, Marianne, Brené, Vishen, Mel, Lewis, to name a few from your list of suddenly silent ones.
Ya it can be tough to sit with it all. My feeling has always been that a true leader will want to make their peers/followers feel on the same level as them as human beings. Inviting them to shift, change or grow in various ways, but not trying to create a totally perfect persona that their followers then can never live up to - because it wasn't real to begin with.
I've been disappointed by many so-called spiritual teachers over the years. Sadly, another one!
We need to realize that for some of them it's become just a business, some of them are just not as "enlightened" as we thought, and had areas of their lives needing work. All are still human beings with shadow sides. That's why none of them should ever be put on a pedestal. We need to hold all of them to the same standards that they would expect of us, or that we would hold for ourselves. It is disappointing that other spiritual leaders, so far, are silent, but, to be fair, I just found out about this latest fallen teacher. The best guru is the one within!
Thanks. Well, I'm sure there are things people can gain from Chopra's work still. It is just good to know that many leaders and spiritual gurus can have a lot of their own darkness and shadow to work through.
I have knowledge of a male friend who met Deepak many years ago and said he was the most arrogant and unkind person he had ever met. So much for walking the talk. I failed to give Mr. Chopra any credibility after learning that.
YUP! We need to speak up about this as a spiritual community and hold him accountable!!
Why am I not surprised?

They are getting away with it!
There is a dead conspirator - Jeffrey Epstein.
One jailed co-conspirator - Ghislaine Maxwell.
Many victims with at least one suicide - Virginia Roberts Giuffre.
But, who are the perpetrators?

Just blogged about this and included links to. your site and to Scott’s.

I remember mentioning him to my analyst ten years ago. She said he was not to be trusted. She can read peoples' faces.
Teal Swan vindicated, finally.
I'm not familiar with the story?
It's a long one, she was a victim of SRA, many called her a liar and crazy.
Ah, I didn't know that people disbelieved her. Thanks.

An article from Charlene Bollinger on the topic of Epstein's crimes against children. Not for the faint of heart.
The video of supposed Epstein with girl on grass is an old pr@n video and not Epstein and not a child. https://heavyfetish.com/videos/27239/lew-rubens-alpha-productions-drea-stakeout-under-glass/ Can't take this author seriously if they can't even research that.

A well written article, thanks!
Wow- just wow.... Thank you. for your bravery, Joe.....Thank you for sharing.....Maybe we should have a book burning of every book Chopra ever wrote?
Thanks. Well, I'm sure there are things people can gain from Chopra's work still. It is just good to know that many leaders and spiritual gurus can have a lot of their own darkness and shadow to work through.

Beautifully expressed, Joe. Couldn’t have said it better myself. Resonates deeply. I’ve been following your work a long time. Thank YOU! ♥️
Thanks Jessica!
Very powerful Joe, carefully researched and very well written. And I can hear your pain about your shattered illusions.
