Trudeau: Truckers Represent A "Small Fringe Minority" But Poll Shows They're The Majority
Mainstream media can make the majority feel like the minority, and the minority feel like the majority. This is done through many tactics, and one of them is "leaders" sharing a view that often demonizes groups of people who are opposing government measures. This has happened throughout history, and it's currently happening now with the massive group of Canadian people and truckers making their way to Canada's capital, Ottawa, to protest mandatory vaccination measures. They are not just protesting mandates for truckers crossing the U.S. Canada border, but for everyone.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently stated the following,
“The small fringe minority of people who are on their way to Ottawa who are holding unacceptable views, that they are expressing, do not represent the views of Canadians who have been there for each other. Who know that following the science and stepping up to protect each other is the best way to continue to ensure our freedoms, our rights, our values as a country.”
We'll address the "science" part of his statement later.
But are they in the minority? There are reports all over the place, especially social media (accounts linked later in the article) from people who are part of the convoy, showing the trucking convoy stretching from 70 to 100 kilometres long, with several, if not tens and thousands of trucks.
Some are estimating that a minimum of half a million to 1 million people are heading to Ottawa. This doesn't seem like a "small fringe minority" and a recent CTV News poll shows that Canadians are in solidarity with the truckers.
The poll showed 78 percent of voters supported the movement.
Truckers are opposing vaccine mandates not only for themselves, but for everybody. When it comes to trucking vaccine mandates there is a big concern that they will further exaggerate supply chain issues. Even a small minority of unvaccinated truckers could have detrimental effects if the mandates stay in place, but the Trudeau government insists that this convoy is what will cause more supply chain issues.
Lockdown measures, however, seem to be deemed necessary when they in turn have been catastrophic and have killed more people than COVID.
Prior to this, Trudeau referred to people who chose not to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as "racist and misogynistic extremists." These kinds of labels and terms don't serve anybody but the politicians who state them. They've always used a "divide and conquer" agenda and they seem to be doing so with all things COVID.
The convoy has had their GoFundMe account frozen, it holds over $6 million to support the movement with gas, food and lodging. The funds may still be released.

Another option to help support is to ‘adopt a trucker’ at this website:

Large social media accounts that had nearly one million people supporting the movement have been deleted. More have popped up as a result, like this one on instagram and this group on Facebook. Here is the new Facebook page. All of these accounts are official ones that are run by the organizers of the convoy.
These seem to be the new official accounts.
When it comes to "following the science" as Trudeau states, the majority of countries still fail to acknowledge the fact that vaccines have failed when it comes to stopping the transmission of the virus. This has not been a “pandemic of the unvaccinated” as politicians have claimed. Throughout this pandemic there have been multiple examples of the most vaccinated regions and countries on earth experiencing large COVID outbreaks.
Perhaps the most ignored and censored factor when it comes to COVID vaccines are the number of injuries that have been and are being reported around the world. With such a high survival rate, many people would clearly prefer to take their chances with a natural infection which provides stronger protection than the vaccine.
COVID vaccines may help keep the elderly and those with comorbidities out of the hospital. In the United States, 95 percent of people who have died with COVID-19 have had at least one comorbidity listed as the cause of death alongside COVID. The average is four comorbidities. In the England and Wales, only 6,183 in the region can be attributed solely to COVID from the beginning of 2020 up until the end of Sept 2021.
Furthermore, the censorship of scientists and other experts in the field who have argued for a more focused protection plan without mandates and lockdowns has been unprecedented. There has been a coordinated effort to do this, as well as an effort to demonize all who oppose government "health" mandates.
If we continue to allow governments to push such authoritarian measures on the citizenry, the descent into tyranny won't stop, and will simply get stronger and stronger. What's happening now seems to be a coordinated effort of powerful organizations, like the World Economic Forum, advising and instructing various governments to push forward with this agenda, and push hard. But there is always hope, and this recent trucking convoy is a great example of that.
“As authoritarianism spreads, as emergency laws proliferate, as we sacrifice our rights, we also sacrifice our capability to arrest the slide into a less liberal and less free world. Do you truly believe that when the first wave, this second wave, the 16th wave of the coronavirus is a long forgotten memory, that these capabilities will not be kept?”
