This essay puts into words thr many thoughts and feeling that have been swirling round.
...My leaving of organised religion, interest in quantim physics, spirituality, sociology, and the desire to get back to a more nature based, indigenous style world view. (I have some native nz maori ancestry and also love hearing the world view of many native cultures that seem to share a collective understanding of the world).
Have you read 'braiding sweetgrass'. I found it really transformative seeing the innate wisdom of the first nation people in America and how science backed many of their practices were, plus their depth of understanding for the interconnectedness of all things.
Anyway. Just a thanks.
Keep up the good work and the reminder that every positive is adding to the change for good even when things seen dark and overwhelming.
Hello Joe, I also had to go to my Email to get the magic code that this page requested to allow this comment. I was already signed in. I'm going to close Substack, reopen from the email link that you sent me and check it again.
It is fine now. Whatever it was seems to have just needed 1 verification of my email identity. I hope there's no agency out there screwing with you. It does occasionally happen in the old paradigm.
Profound essay, thank you. I think you're right on here. When the systems that govern societies and the world are changing, and hopefully more and more people will internally change to create - even expect - different systems that reflect a healthier and evolving human consciousness.
Btw, even though I was signed it into substack, when I first tried to comment on your post, substack demanded that I first respond to a code sent to my email. I tried again and the same thing happened. So I moved on; if I'm signed in I don't want to have to enter what they call "a magic code" sent to my email. When I commented on another substack, that didn't happen; I could comment without a stupid code. So I came back to your essay directly in my web browser and could comment easily without a code. I know you've been severely censored in the past, and I'm not sure if this stupid code demand was random, or because it was your substack.
As for the comment situation, I checked any settings to see if there was anything on Subtack making readers do that - I couldn't see anything. I do have to be signed in to comment on other people's stuff as well. I can either use my password to sign in or use a code. I think there is a button that says "use password instead" if you are not yet signed in. Not sure if this helps but hope it's easier in the future.
Thanks, I was signed in, I could access my activity from your page in the upper right corner, and I checked my activity from there. I've never had that happen before.
“It doesn’t seek that everyone believes what I believe or follows any God or guru, but that their wellness and wellbeing are intimately connected to mine, and so I want what’s best for others too.” Amen! 🙏
The review and the true interpretation of the Wizard of Oz 101..had a profound impact upon those who learned what it was implying about in our lives and government. Very easy for the $heeple to understand.
Quite possibly your best work yet. Truly. What a beautiful read. Every word filled with purpose & intention, and the entire piece just flowed so incredibly.. so impactful. Happy you are back - and seems like BETTER THAN EVER! Keep sharing, the world needs more of this & YOU! xx
Thanks Ruby. And you probly know better than anyone else at this point, I paused for several hours before publishing wondering if I added enough backing to the more philosophical ideas I presented lol. It's hard to say 'morphic field' this and 'reincarnation science' that and not sit there and back it up with the evidence that supports my case. But if I do that, the essay becomes 5000 words lol
Absolutely.. lol funny enough, I thought, 'I wonder who he had proofread/edit this' 😜 Honestly though, this is AMAZING Joe.. really. I can tell a lot of thought, heart and energy was poured into this one. A great comeback piece. So proud of you -- and --grateful these kinds of grounded reflection points are being poured into the ether at this time amid all the other static/noise we are being served at the moment.
*PS* I wouldn't have minded 5k+ words in this rhythm lol
But yes, please do 🙌 I look forward to the next, and next next.. etc xx
Hi Joe. Great to see you again. I recently signed up for Irene Lyon’s SBSM. It felt like the right time to dive in. I’m hoping to gain a greater awareness of my true self and deepen into that. I figure that’ll be my best contribution to the world right now.
Hi Donna, that's great to hear about SBSM. It is a wonderful program that made a really big impact on my life. There is a lot in there, and I do believe that work not only gets us into nervous system exploration but also cognitive, spiritual, behavioral, shadow etc.. it's all connected. I'm happy to help explore any of the nervous system subjects with you via email if it ever feels overwhelming or if you have any questions. Her program has incredible customer support, so there's that too, just thought I'd offer any help I could as well.
Thanks Joe. I’m really looking forward to this program. I do have some fears around it being overwhelming and possibly not understanding the material properly.Irene does discuss pacing ourselves and doing what is best for our own unique nervous system so that helps a lot. I will probably be taking you up on those emails🙂
welcome back brother!! lately i've found myself out of practice, out of touch with something larger than me, and not in tune with the new paradigms you speak of. instead i've been more caught in the day to day news cycle and 'takes' from influencers. i find it interesting but also exhausting. it lacks wisdom but feeds my intellectual understanding. you've reminded me of the importance of balance here. thanks! hope you continue writing here as i could use a consistent reminder.
Thanks man! I totally feel you. During the height of the changes in my life, I felt stressed. And in that stress, I was reminded of how easy it is to get caught up in JUST the material realm. This isn't to say the material realm isn't real or important, but that it isn't all there is within our reality. The non-material bleeds in and plays a role, and thus, to not be de-realized from reality is to sense it as well.
I appreciate the kind words, and I'm hoping I'm going to be back on here more often :)
Lovely to hear from you again and thanks for your insights as always. I agree with so much of what you said here. I've missed hearing from a more grounded and big picture voice amidst the craziness of the last year. Hoping you are back more often 🙏 🙂❤

Indeed, opening up to the hidden hands and agendas behind what appears to be an elected government is an important part of breaking the illusion.

Thanks for taking the time to read and offer some kind words! Things are settling much more for me now, so I suspect I will be back much more often.
