Politics? It's all an illusion!

You must be distracted while the real agenda is being put into place.

This is a copy of a clip that I posted to my Facebook page:

--------------------------

I used to publish certain political views on FaceBook that I thought would be of interest/concern to Canadians. However, I soon discovered that very few of my Facebook friends cared about politics, so I'm going to try and pinpoint individuals—you two for now. By caring about politics, I don't mean, are you are Liberal, Conservative, Bloc, NDP or Green. In fact, being blindly loyal to one party or another has been a deliberate ploy by all parties to keep you divided: divide and conquer; all parties win. Politicians win, Canadian citizens lose!

When I was in the military, I spent two years posted to Germany, and those two years were the most eye-opening experiences of my life! Being able to speak German and having a love for German beer, I spent a lot of time in their pubs. I soon gained their confidence and heard some of the heartfelt experiences they had with Hitler, Nazism, and what life was like in Germany during the war.

One Of my most memorable discussions I had in German pubs was with a now-defrocked German SS officer who came and joined our group at the table. That really scared the pants off of me! There's no room to go into detail here, but even after all the revelation that the Germans had been shown by the allies what Hitler had really done to their country, this man displayed a blind loyalty to Hitler, much as a son might show his faith and respect to his father. This ex-SS officer would still, after all that he had since learned about the Nazies, gladly given up this life for his glorious fuehrer!

That's what propaganda can do to a blind, opinionated person. Do you know of a Canadian political party that does not dabble in propaganda?

During my stay in Germany, my wife and I rented a small house in a town near our Canadian Forces army base. Again, I got into a conversation with our landlady and she related how, when the Americans pushed the Germans out of their area, they would not believe the Americans when they told the town what Hitler had done to the Jews. The American Military had to, physically, take the members of this small community to a nearby Jewish (former) concentration camp: this is what your glorious Feuhrer had done! Were they shocked?

This is what propaganda can do to a society! In the United States I see where Donald Trump is leading all the poles by a wide margin. His blind followers believe that their glorious Feuhrer is going to "Make America Great Again." Donald Trump is a psychopathic narcissist. If he ever gets elected he will make Hitler's escapades seem amateurish by comparison.

Those who do not learn from history are forced to repeat its past events. If you do not care about yourself, care about our children. They will be the new cannon fodder in the divide-and-conquer politics of tomorrow!

There's no mechanism in the system to force accountability. The accountability we get is the one "they" allow for. Look at the Auditor-General and Ethics Commissioner. They often find wrongdoing but have no power to enforce punishment. So all we can hope for is the gov. takes their findings seriously. Which they don't as we've seen under the Liberals. "We take the Ethics Commissioner's report seriously and we seriously promise to do nothing."

There's also a problem of transparency. A democracy cannot function without it. When vigilant news outlets, watchdogs (like Judicial Watch) or independent journalists get access to FOIA requests it's often heavily redacted. In both Canada and the USA.

These are just some examples of flaws in the system that need fixing or reform.

A more opaque issue is the merging of globalist and nation-state interests. Politicians have been effective in convincing the population in their respective countries that a global agenda serves our best interests at the national and local levels. This is what the UN attempts to achieve. We see it in the rhetoric and slogans - One Health for example. One medical response for all. A top-down authoritarian body will dictate how countries respond to 'pandemics' for their citizens. It's absurd but it's a problem that is real.

I wish it was as simple as making 'normies' see what's afoot. In Canada, things are just too comfortable to wrestle with this sort of stuff. No one wants to believe it until they get touched. So the question is, are we on a path where that will happen?

I don't know what's happening but it's not representative democracy of any kind.

It's so interesting hearing a Canadian perspective, because it's the exact same situation in the UK. Exactly. Coincidence? Nope. Our system of governance has been hollowed out from within. Here's a scarily prescient quote from Aldous Huxley:

""By means of ever more effective methods of mind-manipulation, the democracies will change their nature; the quaint old forms - elections, parliaments, Supreme Courts and all the rest - will remain. The underlying substance will be a new kind of totalitarianism. All the traditional names, all the hallowed slogans will remain exactly what they were in the good

old days. Democracy and freedom will be the theme of every broadcast and editorial.

Meanwhile the ruling oligarchy and its highly trained elite of soldiers, policemen, thought-manufacturers and mind-manipulators will quietly run the show as they see fit." (Brave New World Revisited ,1958)

I ask folk to find an old paper dictionary and look up defs of liberal and conservative.

Summary? By def, a liberal is always seeking to change. A conservative resists that effort.

The best current example, Roe was originally passed for early unwanted pregnancy termination. Whether financial? Out of wedlock? Mentally challenged?

Health of mother or unviable child?

Again, by def, liberals sought to March the time frame down the field of “change,” to longer and longer terms. That resulted in a girl having delivery contractions, on the way to the hospital, can choose to chemically abort. Now liberals blame extremists conservatives for being irrational as their efforts overturned this haneous procedure. But Roe was not overturned. Had extremists liberals not pushed the term, our nation would still practice unhindered termination for various reason……..early in pregnancy.

Prior to this, our state conservative legislature passed “the baby born alive protection act.”

Why? Because if a new American citizen survives a 9 month chemical abortion, Drs we’re allowing the newborn to choke and drown in their own fluid.

Our liberal Gov Brazere vetoed that bill.

You can apply this example to any number of issues today. I use abortion because most folk are familiar with the liberal insanity surrounding its history.

Voting for Federal US offices has been pure charade since the turn of the century or earlier. A study done around 2003 tracked all congressional legislation from 1980-2000. 80% of those bills favored the special lobbying interests. Nowadays legislation is actually written by lobbyists and simply submitted to Congress for processing. Virtually all legislators (and POTUS) are completely owned by their top campaign contributors. Add electronic voting machines that are completely controllable and shamelessly biased media to the mix and more - it is even more rigged than what the current bickering is about.

Democracy in the US died a silent death years ago.....

All I can say is - Well said!! You nailed it!! I personally haven’t voted in a number of years, as I feel none are worth the effort and never do what they say they will - maybe I am wrong, and I get ridiculed if I mention that to some people, but my choice!

I echo this statement 100%: "... if we truly want freedom the first step is to wake up to the fact that voting is an endorsement of this current system that helps it maintain power." I discuss a similar topic in my article on voting: https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/why-we-need-to-stop-voting-in-presidential

I argue that we need to stop voting in presidential elections, because as you mention, they only uphold the status quo. Plus, there's literally spell"casting" in our votes. There's power here, so we should use it wisely. And so, we shouldn't use that power on systems we can't control (presidential), but rather channel and focus that energy where we CAN control (local politics).

Ultimately, we need to be aware of the power we have and I discuss that in this article here: Critical thinking and taking action: https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/critical-thinking-and-action-taking-693

Our action and time are limited day in and day out. However there's power to them. If voting does not return our investment into it, we need to disregard the "american dream" propagandized to us and focus our energies on real investments w/ tangible ROI (i.e., schools and local business).

Thanks for this work!
