Thanks for the support! I tend to think stories like this can really reveal a lot in terms of how government thinks. Helps people question the thinking and worldview behind the society they live in.
No different than what occurs in the US. Constitutional laws are broken over and over, and our "elected officials" don't believe they are actually REQUIRED to follow the law. In fact, they get their panties in a wad whenever they are challenged, and have obviously all forgotten that they are supposed to be working for their constituents, not for themselves. Keep pushing!
Great story and great job sticking with this. The thing with FOIA is, how do you know if government will actually release the documents you ask for? If something is damning, can't they always hide behind excuses like 'privacy or security'?? What about if they pretend the documents just don't exist? I love FOIA, but sometimes I feel like I can't trust the process fully. BTW, happy to support your efforts.

I get what you mean about holding back or pretending the documents don't exist - perhaps they do that, but sadly it's hard to know. The way I tend to look at it is, the system is here and available, so why not give it a go and hope for the best.
All this while at the same time I like to explore new system design lol. Stories like this help bring more people into the conversation of new system design as it gives them a good reason to design something new.
