There are many layers of complexity involved in understanding what is going on here, and we must examine them without losing empathy for the suffering that occurs during conflict like this.
Thanks Joe - I appreciate your voice, and what you write. There is indeed a lot of complexity, and this requires us to think and look deeper and wider than just "simple" black and white answers.
Perhaps that's the case, that is why my sentiment and that of Efrat's was a "possibility". I'm not sure why insults always have to make their way into dialogue as if it adds to conversational value.
Israel leadership has motivation to control the population of Palestinians given their goals and it's not at all unreasonable to think they need global support for actions. I thought there was a lot of meaningful discussion here for example: https://youtu.be/aA3ZANV2A4o?si=3S7kuofj8PdegrdS
Nothing will EVER justify the murder of innocent civilians, primarily women and children. Two wrongs will never make a right. The Hamas attack was unquestionably barbaric but so to is the Israeli response.
I have stated before and will do so again. The biggest fault of modern society is a lack of empathy for our fellow humans. Lack of empathy lowers us to the static of rabid animals.
Indeed, there is a ton of atrocity on both sides of war and conflict, it is tragic. Interestingly it has been odd to see the rumors and unconfirmed reports of child beheadings pushed by MSM and US govt only for it to seem like it may not even be true: https://youtu.be/aA3ZANV2A4o?si=3S7kuofj8PdegrdS
Thanks for the tip regarding Brett Weinstein’s podcast. He’s both very bright and levelheaded. Max Blumenthal posted an informative video on the Grayzone.
Thanks for the reminder to take a step back during this event. Social media is filled with a ton of perspectives and there is a lot of really strong opinions out there... including from some major influencers like Jordan Peterson. I found his comments to be off putting myself..
Thank you!
A good read, Joe - always worth it to post views that question what's put before us. Thanks you!
Divide and Conquer has never been so easy.....
....how can we follow the money?

False flag!?
Look at the Yom Kippur war. Israel got overconfident now just like then and let its guard down.
You really are a fool if you think that they let this happen.
Yes there are good questions to be asked but don't answer them with stupid answers.

As always, an evolving situation.

Indeed, he did some great work on this conversation and am happy he took the time.
