As a child growing up along the North Platte River valley in southern Wyoming; this legend was held in the highest regard. I wrote a book report about Black Elk and gave a speech about prophecies when in high school in Saratoga. More recently, now that I am in my sixth generation with beautiful grandchildren, I recall how Ramtha described the advent of the White Buffalo woman in these tumultuous times. Epic moments unfold daily which herald sweeping changes at all levels of our lives. It's time...

I asked some friends if they recalled what Ramtha said. One friend told me that tribal leaders came to our School to talk about White Buffalo Calf Woman and they recognized JZ. I have asked her what year that was and for details.

Positive change has been happening in our world for over a decade now. Sometimes it does seem hopeless, but never lose hope! patience is a test.

Thanks, Arjun. I stayed on the Okanagan Reservation for several months and met with the elders. They possessed calm and a spiritual "certainty" when speaking about the natural world.

What does it mean to have an open mind to you?

The ability to rest in doubt. To be able to sit comfortably with uncertainty and to be able to use this to refine discernment. This means flexing our ability to cognize different narratives, contradictory truths, and attach to none of them with immediacy.

What does it mean to have an open heart to you?

The open heart to me has to do with embodiment. When we are embodied and using empiricism to seek truth then the body becomes the means by which we can use the heart and the mind together.

How do both change the way we listen to and communicate with others?

If we can use both of these states then we can counter the constant pressure to live in certainty reinforced by echo chambers and our fear of doubt. To me there is no discernment without doubt. When we learn to move through natural states of doubt towards truth, we cultivate trust in our own discernment and it becomes a sovereign process that isn’t tied up with groupthink or tribalism.

Storytime, I love Native American stories like this and wish it to be introduced in all American public schools so that we cull the indoctrination of another generation of children who know not how to live upon the Earth. WWIII is the war for our spirit and I am re-minded of this when I hear stories like this. Very grateful to receive this message so as to carry it forward.

"We are a society that’s living primarily in our minds, disembodied from our hearts . . . ".

That is the crux of the problem/situation. The majority of humans have habitually so focused their attention outwardly into this physical world of time-space-oriented reality that their connection with spirit has become dormant so-to-speak or below conscious awareness. That doesn't mean it has gone anywhere, but it is not currently part of people's awareness or reality.

With this loss of connection with the spirit or the Greater Reality that is our Source— the non-physical, beyond-time-space Energy of Consciousness itself that all other frequencies of energy were derived from, humanity lost its foundation, its Consciousness of The Whole that we are all but tiny parts or points of focused consciousness/awareness of.

There is only One Thing in this entire universe and that is that energy of Consciousness or All That Is/Infinity. It cannot be divided and nothing existes outside of it. We ARE all connected. We ARE all individual points of focus, but just as the facets of a diamond do not exist separately on their own, but rather are aspects of that one central stone, we as individuals are still all connected to and only exist because of that ONE THING or Reality of Spirit.

When humans learn to experience reconnecting their awareness or consciousness to that ONE Awareness, that understanding that we are truly connected in spirit automatically solves all the problems that have derived from our experience of separation— the competition and selfishness and greed; the evil behaviors that come from not knowing what we are. And the fear that comes from the sense of powerlessness because we have lost connection with our True Power of Spirit. Fear is what drives virtually all anger and hatred.

Confident, secure people who know Who and What they are do not seek power and control over others. When humanity reconnects with their Source Energy, Source Consciousness, nearly all conflict and strife will automatically just vanish. Cooperation IS the true basis of Nature, of living things, NOT competition, NOT "Survival of the Fittest". That was an error. The dissertation that Darwin plagerized for his famous book was titled "Survival of the Fit", not "fittest"! Fit means adapted to nature and is the result of living according to natural principles of health. HUGE difference, but that mistake has confused people about Nature ever since.

In reality, nothing works well in a vicious, "dog-eat-dog" kind of overly competitive world. We need to get back to our roots, our Origin, our Spiritual Connection to be able to truly love and appreciate and respect and support each other and all of our fellow beings on this planet— All Our Relations.

How? The Way is inside, through turning our attention internally to our spirit. Outside just leads to more and more division, to separation. We are individual facets, but the Whole Diamond is to be found by refocusing our attention inside through meditation. The energy of Consciousness itself is always with us and just needs to be rediscovered. It existes in the silence, the space BETWEEN thoughts, because the constantly chattering mind endlessly distracts us from that pure Experience of existing BEYOND THOUGHT. Our minds— our thoughts and ideas and concepts and beliefs cannot "take" us there. We ARE there ALREADY, we just have to NOTICE IT, in that Silence. What is INSIDE is infinitly bigger that what is outside of us. Going INSIDE opens us up to INFINITY. It is sort of like turning inside out. Focusing our attention outside on the limited three-dimensional physical world just endlessly divides us. Internally is where the ONE Source is to be found that reconnects or unites us with everything!

Then everything is okay Just The Way It Is. We can appreciate that there is a purpose for everything, that everything is a learning experience and that nothing in this physical reality can actually hurt us. "Bad" things that happen have their place and purpose. We like and need challenges to overcome to be fulfilled. Satisfaction comes from difficulties, not from an easy life. We want to play out our own "Hero's Journey": to triumph over adversity. And when we get ourselves into situations that we don't like, we learn to make other choices next time. Making "bad" choices is how we learn to make "better" choices. A baby wouldn't learn to walk if he never fell down. "Falling" teaches us what the parameters are. Nothing is really a "mistake" or "wrong" because everything, every experience has value. We just "get lost in the weeds" of our very limited perspectives, and get too judgemental.

But ultimately we are safe. We are protected. We will Return at the end of this life experience to the non-physical state of existence where we came from as soon as we exit the limiting physical body. Home is on "The Other Side". If someone hasn't yet experienced being temporarily out-of-body and being in the beyond-time-space state, I highly recommend at least reading about the experiences of others who have gone out-of-body during a Near Death Experience. There is now a wealth of literature available recounting thousands of such return trips to that other state of consciousness. It is real. Very, very real! This physical reality of our day-to-day lives is only a tiny part of what's really going on in this Universe!!!!

"Dances With Wolves" was the book carefully written by Michael Blake and became the storyline and spiritual guide that his friend Kevin Costner converted into the screenplay for the film. Kostner contacted a true Lakota heritage woman in South Dakota for advice during pre-production and, later, he was honored with an honorary membership in the Lakota tribe. I met him while playing a very small role in another film he produced in 2018 and we talked briefly about the arduous saga of colonialism that all Native American tribes suffered under during breaks in the production. I had been asked to help produce another film about the legend of Okanagan Indian named Johnny McClain which was written by Glenn Raymond of the Okanagan tribe of North Eastern Washington State set in the 1890s.

If you'd be interested, I still have the story and production notes for that film @ woldrob@gmail.com. I have followed all of Arjun's deeply involving papers since about 2012 or so and include passages from them in a novel I'm finishing, excerpts of which can be read at: www.lightningonthemoon.com

The cleansing of mother Earth is told by many indigenous peoples worldwide - the Hopi, the Dogan in Africa, the aborigines in Australia and many more. This prophecy is now playing out, because the majority of humans do not live in harmony with Mother Earth, but have been led astray for decades.

Currently, there are over 8 billion residing on this planet - far too many to live in harmony. Chief Seattle once said that all the white man can do is destroy and polllute Mother Earth instead of being a caretaker of it. Humanity will unfortunately pay a heavy price for the actions of the last few centuries.

It's interesting to think about, because there is a LOT of space on our planet. I do believe it is capable of withstanding an even greater population than it has now. It's not the population that's the problem, it's how we choose to live here. That being said, eventually, if we get our stuff together, we will expand out into the stars.

Indeed. It's wild how prophecies from different parts of the world at both similar and different time periods all basically speak of and share the same sentiments. It drives me nuts because humanity has the unlimited potential to create a world where all life can thrive. It's our current state of being, both on individual and collective levels, I believe, that must change in order for the world to change.

I agree absolutely with you. Maybe you are familar with Marlo Morgan's "Dream Catcher" book describing her walkabout with a small group of aborigines walking from Perth on the west coast of Australia on the east coast over a period of 3 months and the experiences she had. The leader of this group told Marlo that the youngest member of the group would be the last of this group as the time was coming to leave all behind. We are indeed in perilous dark times and it is yet to be seen whether mankind will survive hereafter. I hope that a light will prevail to push the darkness away.

What does it mean to have an open mind to you?

When I am challenged by an other it has to be helpful to reflect that he or she has their own needs and stress factors. If I can accept that there is a chance I won't be so reactive so "finger-pointing" and have more tolerance.

What does it mean to have an open heart to you?

It means that in truth, my heart knows we are one, humanity is a one. I am not an isolated, separate self but a part of a whole sharing a common humanity with similar needs, hopes and an overall purpose or reason for being.

How do both change the way we listen to and communicate with others?

Not by the mind alone but by listening out for the feelings and needs. If I can respond to a sense of what the other needs without compromising my own, then, in a needs being met society, people will not only get on but thrive. First, I have to get passed the "them and us" mentality, and hold to the awareness of "we...we the people ... are in this together". there is no taking sides, no victory in win/loose. It's about us together for a future worth having, isn't it?
