Ice Cube Walks Way From $9 Million Payday Because of Vaccine Requirements
It's being reported by The Hollywood Reporter, among other media outlets, that rapper/actor Ice Cube has walked away from Sony's upcoming film, "Oh Hell No." It's a comedy starring other big names like Jack Black. Apparently his departure is a result of declining a request from the film producers to get vaccinated. Neither Ice Cube nor Sony has released a statement pertaining to his departure from the film.
It may seem like a surprise because Ice Cube is a household name, but we've seen the same trend with multiple celebrities. Basketball star Kyrie Irving for example, is currently not allowed to play due to the fact that he is unvaccinated. Draymond Green, a power forward on the Golden State Warriors has also been vocal about freedom of choice.
Ice Cube and Irving are just two out of approximately one hundred and thirty million people in America who are not fully vaccinated. These people represent more than 40 percent of the American population. Ice Cube and Kyrie Irving are part of a very large minority in America. In many countries people are losing their ability to make a living and travel freely due to the fact that they are not willing to get vaccinated.
Throughout this pandemic, scientists and doctors who have shared opinions and evidence that oppose government measures like vaccine mandates and lockdowns, for example, have faced harsh criticism. They've even been subjected to censorship via social media platforms and Facebook "fact checkers."
Many celebrities have large social media followings, and with that comes the power to influence the mainstream conversation. It's not uncommon for celebrities to keep quiet on controversial topics, which is why when they do offer their opinion and it opposes the mainstream narrative, it usually receives a lot of attention. This attention is usually combined with an attempt to ridicule the celebrity, depending on what view they share. It makes you wonder, how many other 'big names' out there refuse to be vaccinated?
The number of renowned doctors and scientists who oppose mandatory vaccination has been quite encouraging to see for those who support freedom of choice. What's discouraging is the fact that many people are completely unaware of science that opposes government mandates.
Unfortunately this pandemic has become a political weapon. Joe Biden, among many other politicians have deemed it a "pandemic of the unvaccinated."
Dr. Günter Kampf is a consultant hospital epidemiologist and Associate Professor for hygiene and environmental medicine at the University Medicine Greifswald, Institute for Hygiene and Environmental Medicine, in Germany. He recently published an article explaining the science and data showing that this statement is not true. His article points to the fact that by being vaccinated, you are not necessarily protecting others due to the fact that the vaccine does not prevent transmission of the virus. In essence, you're only protecting yourself against severe symptoms and death from COVID.
Eric T. Payne, MD, MPH, FRCP(C), Pediatric Neurocritical Care & Epilepsy, Alberta Children’s Hospital Assistant Professor of Pediatrics & Neurology, the University of Calgary also provides a thorough explanation.
In America, COVID vaccines have been authorised for children from 5-18 years of age and may soon be authorised for babies 6 months of age and older. The plethora of science that calls into question vaccine mandates for children is being completely ignored by the mainstream, just as it's been completely ignored for adults.
It's great when the actions of celebrities encourage people to think critically. Most of the time they're often used to sell protects or push a specific political agenda. Ask yourself, why are so many people around the world, including many of the world's top scientists, doctors and infectious disease epidemiologists refusing to take the COVID vaccine and/or speak up against mandates? And why doesn't anybody know about it? Should governments really have the authority to mandate such an intervention, or should they only have the power to make recommendations and encourage people? Why doesn't anybody know about early initiatives like The Great Barrington Declaration?
A number of academics in multiple countries are trying to reach people and create awareness about concerns regarding these vaccines. Here in Canada for example, it's the Canadian COVID Care Alliance. A group made up of hundreds of viral immunologists, professors, doctors and other academics trying to relay science to the people that the mainstream continues to ignore.
