Major Takeaways From The US Congressional Hearing on UFOs: Addressing 'Psyop' Claims & More
Retired military officials testified in front of Congress on Wednesday about their experience with UFOs. In doing so, they join hundreds of other 'whistleblowers' from around the world.

David Charles Grusch, 36, a former combat officer and a veteran of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), as well as the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), testified yesterday at a US Congressional hearing about claims the US government is covering up its knowledge of UFOs.
He was also joined by Ryan Graves, a retired Navy pilot who has since founded Americans for Safe Aerospace, and David Fravor, a former Navy commander.
During the hearing, Grusch claimed the US government has had a program to retrieve crashed UFOs for decades. These retrievals have also found non-human occupants inside the UFOs that have been recovered.
Grusch was asked whether the US government had any information about extraterrestrial life, and he responded by stating he felt the US has likely been aware of “non-human” activity since the 1930s.
He also claimed to have given more details and evidence to the Inspector General, but they have not yet been made public.
Grusch maintains under oath that the US government is hiding information on UFOs/UAPs from the public and from Congress, but could not answer specific questions because the information is still classified.
He also claimed that he had been denied access to these programs, and said that he has faced “very brutal” retaliation as a result of his allegations. He claimed he had knowledge of “people who have been harmed or injured” in the course of government efforts to conceal this type of information.
Fravor testified that he has observed these objects as a pilot, and Graves said UAP objects had been detected “essentially where all navy operations are being conducted across the world” and are seen on a daily basis.
The Pentagon has denied Grusch’s claims of a cover-up. US Department of Defense spokesperson Sue Gough stated investigators have not discovered “any verifiable information to substantiate claims that any programs regarding the possession or reverse-engineering of extraterrestrial materials have existed in the past or exist currently”.
This is fascinating testimony. It is worthy of our curiosity and open-mindedness to explore a subject that could literally change the ways in which we operate as human beings on this planet. Yet this subject is often met with ridicule.
A Misinformed Narrative Being Spread?
Nobody in the public seems to have undeniable proof that ‘aliens’ are real. That said, most of the public doesn’t have undeniable proof of many things we believe as fact.
Amongst all of this ‘UFO mania’ are claims the government is disseminating misinformation as one big show to usher in a ‘New World Order.’
For example, prominent investigative journalist Whitney Webb tweeted the following statements,
“Wow aliens! Won't it be fun to watch people believe whatever some former intelligence agents say with no evidence and then panic and demand that all of humanity bands together to make a global govt just like in Star Trek and Mass Effect bc of "the aliens"?”
While it is possible the US government could use a narrative like this for other means, is there really no evidence to support the idea that UFOs and extraterrestrials are authentic?
Tweets like this beg the question, why do some journalists put so much rigour and investigation into some topics and not others, and then ridicule and hold certainty on the ones they don’t investigate?
Throughout her career, Webb has used the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), declassified CIA (and other) documents, and declassified documents via lawsuits to make her points clear. Why are these documents that have government hands on them credible yet the testimony of former government, intelligence or military personnel is not? Why are declassified documents pertaining to Syria true in her eyes, yet declassified documents pertaining to UFOs, like this one regarding a joint study between Russia and China, fake?
Why are the testimonies of Jeffrey Epstein’s accusers, which she covered in depth, credible yet the testimony of eyewitnesses of UFOs not in her eyes?
Further, is she aware that not only are there thousands of high-ranking military and intelligence people from around the world who have blown the whistle on UFOs, but there is also detailed documentation from FOIA requests, declassified CIA (and other) documents and more that have been made public as a result of various lawsuits? Has she gone through them and investigated them for herself?
In fact, the UFO phenomenon has been documented since the invention of the printing press.
For example, an event that took place in Nuremberg, Germany in 1561 documented a number of “cylindrical objects” appearing in the sky. Then, from the objects emerged small round objects, and disk-shaped objects that were red, black orange and blue. The story was covered in the printing press, which you can see below. It’s one of many examples.
Does Webb realize that just like the whistleblowers she has brought forward and written about to expose the technocratic authoritarian surveillance state we see unfolding before our eyes, for years, UFO whistleblowers have had a very hard time?
They’ve risked the lives of themselves and their families to speak out, and have been ridiculed and ignored within the mainstream for decades. We are talking about some of the highest-ranking people in the world of national defence from dozens of countries.
Webb eventually made a more reasonable Tweet after receiving many comments from her other users:
“I see a lot of people believe in aliens. Believe whatever you want, my point is this is happening in Congress right now for a specific purpose and critical thinking is important. It's a controlled release of info (whether true or false is irrelevant) with an ulterior motive”
This is a thought that sounds a lot more like a perspective of a UFO researcher who has been investigating the topic for more than 15 years.
Myself, I’ve written numerous articles about how I am concerned that ‘government’ UFO disclosure will simply be used to control the narrative around the phenomenon. But it does not mean the entire UFO discussion is false.
We’ve seen this many times with real events that occur, where the ‘official’ explanation is misleading or a lie, yet it infiltrates pop culture as ultimate unquestionable truth due to the dissemination of propaganda. It then becomes taboo to question this ‘official’ narrative even though it is false or misleading.
I fear this will happen with the UFO phenomenon. Government does not yet have an ‘official’ narrative, but may be forming one that hijacks a very real phenomenon and mischaracterizes it based on what we already know.
Anybody who has studied ufology and sifted through the evidence and lore knows that it is an incredibly vast topic that leaves no aspect of humanity untouched.
What we are most likely to get from the government is a simple, extremely watered down and sanitized version of disclosure – something that will most likely not be an accurate version of the truth. This may include a false alien invasion perception or threat narrative that’s beamed into the consciousness of the citizenry through various forms of propaganda. Who really knows at this point?
As Webb and many others know, dedication and investigation in a ‘scholarly’ way to try and put the pieces of a puzzle together is necessary to get an accurate picture. This is something few people are doing today, and as time goes on it seems that younger generations don’t even know what this requires.
Instead, I’m worried that our perception of major topics and issues will be formed by mass media propaganda and the lazily informed perspectives of alternative thinkers.
UFO = unidentified flying object and in no way indicates that extraterrestrials were involved. There are obviously sightings of UFOs and some of those are classified government aircraft and other phenomena. The government also researches biological engineering and genetics. This has lead to the creation of different types of species that are grown in laboratories. It could be an explanation to what whistleblowers actually saw which they mistakenly identified as extraterrestrial.
I am highly suspect of this guy Grusch. Why did he and the other navy officer get questioned like this, but not Steven Greer's whistleblowers? Steven holds a Press Event, but only two ppl are at a congressional hearing??? Why a media blackout for Steven et al, but this guy gets all the 'players' in congress like AOC. Grusch likely was put forth by our CIA in an attempt to control the narrative. Our attention is on the wrong guy. And like Steven G stated, Grusch is essentially a guy that knows very little opining that he knows a lot more. The real disclosure is not here.
